From our Austrian base at the family run Hotel Staffler, Elite Snowsports offers an innovative approach to race training – our aim to develop the skier first and racer second – a rounded, happy athlete has the potential to make a great racer!
A comprehensive program combines lots of miles – on and off piste, jumps and bumps and through the trees, skiathlon, powder, ski mountaineering, snow shoeing, gates, drills, video analysis, technical training and lots more besides!
Each and every athlete can expect a very personal and professional approach to their time with us.
All training is tailor made to suite individual requirements - usually but not always aimed at dovetailing with major races and championships. Through membership of our local ski club, Wildschonau SC, we are also able to access the whole season timetable of local and district races - The Wildschonau SC Kindercup, Bezirkscup, the Nikki Cup and others. These take place most weekends of the season and offer our long term athletes access to lots of racing experience - GS, Slalom, Mini-Cross and Duel Slalom.
We include accommodation, food, pastoral care and full race support if required. We also offer an academic program if required.
We are also very lucky to have access for our athletes to a training GS race each Friday afternoon on our local slopes - set by the lift company to race standards and including a timed start and two runs each.
